Sean Connery has passed away at 90. As a fan of the Bond franchise, those early movies are still soooo enjoyable.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Those were brilliant. The best are Darrell Hammond as Connery. And Norm McDonald as Burt Reynolds.

Growing up I would watch the Bond Marathons each year on cable. I loved Dr. No and You Only Live Twice, but looking back I think The Untouchables was his best film. Ultimately he was in a lot of the films I watched on repeat as a kid and I wish he had done more late in his career.

I still like A Bridge Too Far which is probably my favorite war movie.

Favorite Connery movie is "The Man Who Would be King" with Michael Caine. Great, old school adventure.
