Apparently I missed an adventuresome first 7 innings.

This seems much more like a Reds - Brewers game.

About time Hader comes in and puts out the flames.

"You're not going to have him when you want him and you're going to run out of games. He can't pitch 90 games. It's just not going to work. If anyone thinks it's going to work, show me how."- Craig Counsell on Josh Hader.

Both teams with abysmal pitching today. But we have Hader so we can end on a good note, I hope.

Dang Winker smashed that one. Thankfully right at Arcia otherwise that's at least 1 possibly 2 runs. Hit hard enough that at a gap probably gets to the wall...

I get not wanting to overwork Hader, but man, pulling Hader for Albers in the 9th sure has danger signs all over it.

Hader still listed as the pitcher on Gameday?

It's nice when the "get the lead + Hader" strategy works.

He did finish it. They had Albers warming, BA and Rock were speculating that he would finish to protect Hader's arm. I should have been more descriptive to those not watching.

So much for this one being over and going for a walk because they can't score five runs this game.

Hey, I enjoyed my walk and when I came back there was a game worth watching. Win-win.

This inning had so much promise but they could only produce a modicum of runs.

Oh, okay. We didn't get to see the ninth because we had to leave the house and we were wondering how it ended. We didn't know what channel on Sirius radio the game would be on so we could listen to the end.
