I’m really impressed the Brewers were able to sign Terence Doston. He’s incredibly athletic and a very good student, I thought for sure he was headed to West Virginia to compete in football and baseball. He has run the 60-yard dash in 6.48 seconds. If you don’t believe me he is fast, here is a video of him hitting an inside-the-park home run (Twitter Link).

In the 24th round of the #MLBDraft the #Brewers select SS Jose Torres, Calvert Hall College HS

Same school as Troy Stokes.

"Torres said he has a dollar figure set that will determine whether he signs a contract with the Brewers or goes off to North Carolina State."

Is this one of those long shot prep picks? I mean, it sounds like it, but I don't know if that's based on his own level of confidence or the scouting communities.

Depends... with the number of college players drafted, I could see the Crew being able to make a good offer...

Former #BobcatsBaseball players, Jackie Urbaez and Juan Martínez, back together as members of the @Brewers organization! #ProBobcats

Urbeaz also tweeted a picture from 6/10/19 in brewer gear w Martinez that was geo tagged as being in Arizona.

I think we can now assume he's signed.

It's nice to see them getting some of the high school and juco guys signed. With the addition of the second AZL team this is a good year to be signing most of the draft picks.

His high school has produced a ton of major leaguers:

Carl Everett
Elijah Dukes
Dwight Gooden
Gary Sheffield
Chris Ray
Floyd Youmans

also country music legend Slim Whitman

Judging by his Twitter profile, it appears that 36th rounder Keegan McCarville has signed.

Zane Zurbrugg's unlikely ascent led to being drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers

Zane has signed.

Look for the Blake Snell reference...

If Holt signs for what was reported and Floyd and Gillis sign without going above slot, it should leave roughly $500K to offer someone like Rustad or Torres. Since Austin just now reaffirmed his commitment to Alabama, I am thinking all the money is spent or enough of it to make Austin reaffirm.

I deleted what I thought was a duplicate post but I guess it was showing up on page 2 and 3. So, JumpAround if you want to add back in the Callis tweet please feel free. Sorry about that!
