I'll echo that Rillo rocks.

"Second hitter in a row he has in a 3-2 count. Pitch count gets eaten up pretty quick like that."

That was a much better inning for Zack, his pitch count is a tad high.

Good bounceback inning for Greinke, but the we'll see how he fares against the top of the order the next time around.

Zack sure does seem to get a lot of swings and misses on balls out of the zone. I agree with Danzig, I'd just sit FB on him and look for one I could handle.

Geez Gamel out guessed himself there, that was a nice pitch to hit.

I stand by my hypothesis that ZG is good (or bad) enough with his misses that guys sort of "know", with a greater degree of certainty, where he is going to miss and thus it's easier to hit his mistakes than the mistakes of other guys who are more "effectively wild". His own consistency in the general area of the zone hurts him. Thus his BABIP seems "unlucky" when in fact his own style of pitching is concducive to having a high BABIP.

It's amazing how many shallow flies to right-center and RF that Yuni hits. What a scrub.

Which makes sense considering his career BABIP is .309 and he's played on terrible defensive teams.

At least Yuni leads the league in sac flies. He's especially good at making outs when it counts.

Yuck. I just keep waiting (along with everyone else) for Greinke to put it all together.

I'm awfully close to hopping off the Greinke bandwagon. This is ridiculous.

So how do we explain away this for Greinke?

Does anyone really think this is the guy we thought we were getting.

Well, I guess Greinke just can't have a good game. It would be nice to see him pitch good for a whole game at least once.

Wow thank goodness he swung threw that... hung a slider belt high down the middle.

The silly MLB.com "badges" system is on top of things tonight. I already receive the Mike Leake badge for achieving 6 strikeouts.
