I figured that was going to happen when you don't convert on that kind of an opportunity.

Doug Melvin, please tell me you're watching this game and realize how obvious your moves are at the All-Star Break?!

how does Yuni miss that?? Melvin really needs to do something about him over the break. enough is enough with this clown.

This game should be over... Morgan needs to get that bunt down instead of taking strikes... I understand that he had a HUGE catch earlier but he still needs to execute there in the bottom of the 9th!

, deflected by SS Yuniesky Betancourt...

Let me guess, probably five or six feet of range needed?

Doug needs to get a real SS and DFA Betancourt or we will be lucky to be a 3rd place team

Brutal turn of events in the last 30 minutes or so. We fail to capitalize on a golden chance to win in the 9th and then proceed to let them blow it wide open with terrible defense and the Cardinals complete a big comeback from 6-3 down in the 8th.

I should of been a ball player, chumps like Estrada and Betancourt make more money than I ever will and have absolutely no talent at all

Let's avoid stuff like "turd" and "garbage" to describe players. There is no need for posts as ugly as this half-inning just was.

Smallest of silver linings: at least it's not a save situation for the Reds.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

How is Estrada in the major leagues. Look at his career stats...he's terrible.

Ok a brief word here specifically about the pithy, condescending posts.

I understand that everyone (including myself) is frustrated that the Brewers threw away the game. However, this is not a vent thread and we do not need posts that are essentially a show of frustration and do not contribute anything to the discussion.

Thanks.

Why would they blow Cordero here? If they have a save situation tomorrow, he will have to go 3 straight days...

8 or so more double and we'd be right back in this game

This is not helping Cordero get back on track. A few more hits and Plush or Hart could come up as the tying run.

He could use the exercise...

I'm really wondering when Yuni's final straw will be. Of course, as I type this, I see in play, run(s). I think something has to happen over the break or at least before the deadline.
