Prince only had 3 his first time, who knows. I was afraid of him getting shut out after those first few swings.

Only a couple from Berman. There hasn't really been a true mashed ball yet though.
Let's take up a collection to get Berman a thesaurus.

Well, at least Rickie can't do worse than tied for last.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Hawing - you must have the inside scoop as this was posted before Bautista came to the plate - nice

Spoke to soon - when he was at 2 with 9 outs I thought he was going to end with 3 too

I get that they're upset that one of their guys wasn't chosen and all, but booing a guy in his first one and basically ruining the experience for him seems extraordinarily classless.

Yeah, without trying to sound like a Cardinals fan, I've gotta say that was pretty weak. Heck, Upton has only hit 32 HR's the last two seasons to Weeks' 46.

What are the DBacks fans even mad about? 14 players in the NL have more homers than Upton. If this wasn't in Arizona, nobody would have even considered him.

Looks like Rickie won't be the goat after all.

Well just because you hit a lot during the season doesn't mean you are going to be good at the derby. Just look at Kemp...

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

The whole in-derby twitter thing MLB promoted is such a fail. It's all tweets by some (likely) intern, devoid of information or entertainment.

Sets it up for Prince to win it solo.

What's worse: hitting only 2 homers or hitting 3 with a whiff?

Normally I'd say 3 with a whiff, except Kemp had everyone feeling awkward with 9 outs and no homers... Probably a push.

Just showed Prince in the cage taking a couple of swings right handed. Secret switch hitter?

I like that Prince is letting his little afro air out in the batter's box.
