This is starting out like one of those games these teams used to always have at Wrigley when neither of them was especially good.

If the Cubs "build their team" around Barney, that would be awesome for the Brewers.

Hart looked like he was running in slow motion there

I missed the first inning. How did slow as hell McGehee manage to get a triple?

He hit a double with 2 outs and was still running when they threw home to try to get Fielder.

Yeah it was hit in the corner, RF Baker fumbled around for a while, then threw home. It could've just as well been a double with an error or a double with a fielders choice. Not a legit triple. It was a great hit though, nice line drive down the line, so it's not to take credit from Casey for the clutch two out RBI hit.

Gotta love Narveson just hacking away at like 7 pitches and making contact. The sooner we get rid of Dempster the better.

Pretty awful time for a rain delay in NY. CC is perfect through 5.

Is this the ruling? That would be pretty funny.

Wouldn't that probably be PERFECTO* (with an asterisk)? At least CC doesn't have to contend with the PNC Park scorer.

Whoever's in the chat room, hold tight. I'll join you as soon as Yuku permits it.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Narvy has pitched well after that terrible pitch to Ramirez, keep it going Chris.

edit. Scoring McGehee's hit a triple was obvious home cooking, he's out by a mile if the throw goes to 3rd.

Yup, pretty much one bad pitch for Narveson so far. Unfortunately, it wasn't missed.
