It will be interesting with the off day for the Cards if they move Carp to the game on Thursday.

So dumb to pitch to Fielder there, La Russa may be a drunken idiot but he seems to be the only manager in the league who will walk Prince with our scrubs coming up

"a drunken idiot?" I take offense to that.

Looking at Betancourt's career stats I know the chances of him keeping this up are very remote, but if somehow he does keep hitting this well then Dale Sveum is the greatest hitting coach of all-time
Well, I almost agree, I think the dude from Toronto that fixed Jose' Bautista might have him by a tad Image

Good point! But at least Bautista had a .330 plus OBP in 2006 & 2007. Betancourt has been one of the worst hitters in MLB prior to "Sveum Magic" taking hold

Carlos Lee's baseball reference page isn't sponsored. Anyone want to shell out $215?

Does Greinke have a shot at Gold Glove?

How did the Cardinals lose two games to this team at home?

Bud Norris has owned the Crew. He's my best candidate to supplant Suppan and Dempster in the 'mediocre division guy who dominates the Brewers' role. Hopefully they knock him around good here.

Well obviously the Astros & Umpires cheated. Have you never paid attention to Tony LaRussa?. C'mon now!

Just on principle I'm hoping the Astros pitch around Prince here. At some point enough bad baseball is enough.

He's a scourge of the Cardinals too. In STL he has the same nickname as Bucky Dent does in Boston.

Nope, instead they pitch around Kotsay. And then kotsay has the 3-0 green light. Don't know what's worse.
