Casey Coleman

2-6, 7.59

Coleman had trouble with one inning vs. the Braves, sparked by an infield single, but otherwise looked sharp in his last outing. He gave up five runs on five hits, including a slam by Jason Heyward. It may have been a loss, but it was encouraging.

Zack Greinke

12-5, 4.22

The Brewers considered holding Greinke two more days to pitch against the second-place Cardinals, but Greinke preferred a more regular schedule. His loss in Pittsburgh snapped a five-start winning streak.

Off we go to Milwaukee. 1-0 for Sunday, Brewers.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Ron should've given Yuni a day off today. As hot as he was for awhile, he's been absolutely horrible lately. By sticking with all his regulars, I guess he wants to stick it to the Cubs today. Can't argue with that.

On paper, we should win this game rather easily. Hopefully we can give K-Rod and Axford the day off.

I can't wait to watch this game in beeeautiful high definition on TBS. Here's hoping for a little Greinke panky and maybe a PH from "Tyler" Green.

The Cubs starter is horrible vs LHB, I am shocked that none of our lefties are starting, aside from Plush.

I agree, I think a day off should do him some good. A Hariston/Counsel start in a day game is pretty normal. I'm sort of surprised RR didn't put in his 'Sunday Lineup'. I expected Wilson/Counsel at 2B since JHJ is batting .244 against lefties this year, and .208 against lefty starters... although JW and CC haven't done much better. I also think this would have been a good game for Green to start, but I'm fairly confident we'll see him PH. McGehee is .288/.336/.843 vs the Cubs, so this game could regain some of his confidence.

I think it might be good to get our struggling players some more work vs struggling teams and hope the get into playoff form... but it's also important to keep your bench involved and get them at-bats. Either way it's pish posh.

JHJ playing 2 positions tonight, according to FSNW. What can't this guy do?

Pretty weak, ZG. Considering that the Cards would have been your regular start is Narveson would have made his start, is it possible that you just wanted to personally face the Cubs rather than Holliday-Pujols-Berkman?

I believe Zach, I think he just actually wanted to pitch on his normal days rest.

Ho boy, that was lowwwww. Over/under on pitches before Quade gets tossed just dropped significantly.

EDIT: Ha, nevermind. No more bets.

I guess the scubs manager didn't want to stick around and watch his team lose.

Well with the 10+ game lead and Reyes coming back tomorrow, possibly the most exciting race for us to follow will be Braun for the batting crown.
