That Betancourt at-bat had to be one of the stupidest things I've ever seen this season. How do you start him tomorrow after seeing something like that? Because I'm sure he'll be starting again.
RRR sounded pretty frustrated with Yuni in his post-game press conference.

I think I'd have left Counsell in rather than pinch running with Gomez. Craig has more than adequate speed along with a brain that moves faster than his legs. Carlos' legs move faster than his brain. I know that the out at the plate was on RRR rather than Carlos, but I'd have still gone with the safer bet.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I see lots of posts where people are trying to blame someone, or 'the pitching' or 'the offense'........well, there's PLENTY of blame to go around here.

1st inning, 1 run in bases loaded, nobody out, offense gets nothing more across.

Marcum gave up about a dozen bloops, bleeders and seeing eye singles.

Roenicke managed this like a spring training game.

and I can't even count the number of at bats with less than 2 outs with men on 3rd that got nothing across.

Yeah, they scored 8 runs, but the offense still left scoring opportunities out there.

I was at the game and stayed for all 7 hours, or whatever it was. On the way out, I think I heard people blaming just about everyone. For me, it's hard to get past RRR using De La Cruz, for multiple innings, no less.

I also wondered, when they only brought up a few hitters in September, if there would be a game where needed another bat. Gamel would have looked nice in the late innings.

Finally, I still can't believe our bench "power bat" is Kottaras.
