Well, Braun has to get 3 hits in a row now.

So who's pitching the tie-breaker for the Cards tomorrow. I'm pretty sure it's Beachy for ATL. At least that's what I read.

Pirates have had leadoff baserunners in the vast majority of innings this series.

The main thing that worries me about this game is that we're facing an unknown like Jeff Locke. We never seem to hit well in these situations. We need a very well pitched game tonight.

Greinke looks a magnitude more like a first baseman than Prince Fielder.

With 5 runs in the first, I wonder if the Cards could have held Carpenter back until tomorrow. He was probably all warmed up, but that would have been funny if they could swing that.

L'Shana Tova to you too series...and especially to Braunie!

I am pretty sure you cannot do that. You have to at least face 1 batter.

I just noticed that fellow Racine Native/High School Classmate Jason Jarimillo is starting tonight. Heres hoping the Brewers pitching staff only gives up 3 more hits this evening all to Jason.

Let's win one in style boys!

Are BA and Rock poking jabs at the Arizona fans who might be watching? A little Daron Sutton payback perhaps?

An out here ends it barring extras, 3-5 is not good enough. If he walks he will need the 5th PA
