Wow, have the bats been atrocious tonight. Hart's home run and a grounder through the infield. that's it. I guess that almost makes this drubbing easier to stomach. You hit like this, it doesn't matter if you give up 2 runs or 20.

I would offer Braun for Collmenter in the offseason. Probably would have to throw in some prospects though. But it would be like starting the season with -2 losses.

They have essentially thrown in the towel and are getting mowed down. They could have at least tried to get into the pen a little

What's with all the comments about how we knew it wouldn't be a sweep? I never got that memo. It's not like a win tonight would have been some sort of miracle. Until now that is.....

My point was that a 95 win team is not going to be an easy out.

Saunders going tomorrow for Arizona. Interesting question about Kottaras.

I haven't seen any real change in the ABs the whole game, so it's hard to say they've thrown in the towel in that respect.

It's fun to watch Narveson's face when he pitches.

Kottaras has started against plenty of LHP. I don't see that changing tomorrow just because it's the playoffs.

Let's be real, the towel was thrown in when Josh Collmenter was born.

this is true. Way too many swings and outs early in the count

I am enjoying the Collmenter comments.

I only laugh because it hurts.

Collmenter will be out of baseball within 3 years once most of the league has adjusted to his goofy deliver, no worries long term.

I assume we let Narvy soak up the rest of the innings unless we miraculously make a run late. Wow, what a big lumpy turd of a game.

So we could be looking at a lineup that features Kottaras, Gomez, and Yuni? Or will RR go with Morgan despite the lefty for AZ.
