If you really need to play Kotsay over Hart, I'd move Hairston to 2nd, Kotsay to 5th, and Weeks to 6th.

Just give me GoGo in that enormous CF and move JHJ to 5th. I don't care about the rest.

Anyone else think Kottaras could catch Marcum in 6? I watched a bit on Baseball Tonight where they were talking about the awful communication between Luc and Marcum before the Goldschmidt HR and again in game 2 of the NLCS.

How about we stick with the lineup that won us 96 games this season?

So weeks - 1, hart -2/5 and mcgehee -5/6? ... Just saying we have had like 4 different regular lineups this year. I couldn't even tell you who had the most AB's at each spot in the order

I can't really argue with that lineup considering how awful Hart has been and that Kotsay actually looked good at the plate last night. At some point you can only make so many switches--some of the struggling players need to wake up or the season's over tomorrow.

That being said, I am very confident that they will win tonight.

I agree. Obviously RR didn't. Not that huge of a deal.

I know Hart's been cold, but I would still play him every game.

I knew Roenicke would sit Hart. Can't say I'm too upset with it. Don't lose much with Kotsay in RF, and he looked good at the plate yesterday. Glad Morgan's out in CF tonight though.

All I want to know, is what did Gomez ever do to Roenicke, kick his dog? And what did Kotsay do for him, marry his ugly daughter or something?

lol - right? Gomez has done well this postseason ... Whoever is starting all I know is that Braun and Fielder better do better than their 1 for 6 from yesterday.

So this is what we are going to go with? Ahg! Whichever. No more complaining from me. This is what we got, SO this is what we got! GO BREWERS! ... LETS PULL OUT A W!!!!!! COME ON BOYS!!!

Braun/Fielder OBP of .375 from last night is not terrible; its pretty close to season avgs... I would have preferred JHJ at the 5 spot. Rickie hasn't gotten it done since his injury and while I love him he needs to be in a spot he can't be so problematic.

Cards lineup. Smart move by TLR to put Freese behind Pujols. Surprised to see Jay not in the 2 hole, even against the lefty Wolf.

SS Rafael Furcal
RF Allen Craig
1B Albert Pujols
3B David Freese
LF Matt Holliday
C Yadier Molina
2B Ryan Theriot
CF Jon Jay
P Kyle Lohse

I was pissed at RR last night, but I have no problem with this lineup.

Would have liked to see a new #5 hitter, since Weeks isn't doing the job. Either moving Hairston to #5 and Weeks to #6 OR Hairston to #2 and Kotsay to #5 and Weeks to #6 would have been a change to consider. Other than that, I have no problem with the lineup.

Hope to take the lead early and have some cushion going into Inning 7, then move Gomez in for defense.

Almost got the lineup correct last night. I actually like the lineup tonight as Kotsay is the better choice over Gomez tonight.

How Kotsay looked yesterday has NO bearing on what to expect today. Kotsay and Hart aren't even close offensively. I will assume Hart is too sick to play as to not hurt my head anymore.

Baseball fans are always sort sighted with regard to estimating player performances but I gotta say, you guys are really stepping it up for the playoffs.
