I hope Chase has a good outing and CC made a good decision having him start on short rest.

Counsel used to be so much better at staggering his lefties. Every manager in the world is already set on using their best lefty(in this case second best because Rivero is closer) against the top of the order in the 6th-8th inning. Why not let Perez bat 2nd and have Thames bat 6th with Pina 5th? At least at this point in the season we can counter like crazy with Aguilar, Braun, Villar, etc if they throw up a lefty.

Not really an issue with the expanded rosters. When Sogard is up and they bring in the lefty, Aguilar pinch hits and then Villar goes in for Villar or Aguilar goes to 1b and Walker goes to 2b.

We just simply can not field all 3 OF positions with actual outfielders. Just can't do it...

We can't squeeze another game out of Braun? Tomorrow is an off day, it's a pennant race! Come on!

McCutcheon just kills Brewers pitching.

Now we will panic and everyone will try to hit dingers and instead have crappy ABs.

I really thought that was strike 3 to Walker; Hurdle has a right to be upset at that one. Can we take another look?!

Yep, that is a terrible call by the home plate umpire. I'd be pretty upset if that happened to the Brewers, especially if it leads to a run.

Right down main street, but the one two pitches earlier was a ball called a strike.

Dont steal 3rd with a lefty hitting. Idiots! If you are going to do that then let Villar play

Ueck: "If that's not a strike I'm an underground aviator." Very sporting of us to give it right back so it's 2 out guy on 2d anyway.

No way does Hernan let this go to a 3-2 count.

Cuz he's gonna get a hit!

If nothing else it's really driving up Glasnow's pitch count.

Lets see if we can draw 4 walks in an inning without scoring a run.

Edit: never mind Perez is up, not happening
